Question: Q: how to unlink 2 iPhones
- On one of the phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive, tap the ID, sign out, then sign back in with a different ID.
- On both phones go to Settings>Messages>Send & Receive and uncheck the email address(es) shown under "You can be reached by iMessage at".
Even if you still have that old iPhone you never use, it's not a bad idea to clear it out so you don't accidentally keep sending two-factor codes to an old device and wonder why it's not working (which happened to me just yesterday). Click Settings > My Devices and remove anything you no longer have.
Use your iPhone, iPad, or iPod

- Scroll down and you will see your list of Apple ID devices. You will see every device that is connected to your Apple account.
- Tap any device name that you want to remove.
- And tap Remove from Account. Then tap again to confirm.

You can, but for most people, the best solution is to share an ID for purchasing from the iTunes and App stores, but keep separate IDs for iCloud, iMessage and Facetime. If you share the same ID for iCloud, you will be sharing the same iCloud account. You can still share your iCloud calendars if you want (
You can't have two iCloud accounts on one device at the same time under one Apple ID. It's not possible. You can and should use the same Apple ID on all devices, but you should only use one iCloud account as well.
You can't bypass 2FA. If you use security questions with your Apple ID, or if you don't have access to a trusted device or phone number, go to iforgot.apple.com. Then you can unlock your account with your existing password or reset your password.
