A computer can have multiple iTunes libraries and accounts associated with it, allowing each iPod device owner to have an individual library. Adding a second iTunes library to a computer takes just a few moments. Households with multiple iPod users can benefit from having two iTunes accounts on the same computer.
Changing your Apple ID will not cause you to lose contacts. If you don't already have an Apple ID, create one now at id.apple.com. Then, on your iPhone, go to Settings > iCloud, and delete the account. Also, sign out of the old Apple ID under Settings > Messages, Settings > Facetime and Settings > iTunes & App Stores.
You can have up to 5 computers authorized for each iTunes account. You will be able to sync purchases from both accounts to your iPhone, but you will only be able to use one account (the one you last signed on to on iTunes) for the iTunes Wi-Fi Music Store and App Store on the iPhone.
Apple uses your email account as a unique identifier in its system, so you can't create two accounts with the same email address. You can, however, create another Apple ID using a different email account.
Yes, you can have apps installed from different Apple Id's. Simply log in with whatever account you both want to use for purchasing. You can log out and back in with a different App Store account at any time. I have multiple accounts, and multiple devices sharing applications.
Once you have two accounts, the new one and the one connected to the Apple ID,
- Go to Settings.
- Select your Apple ID at the top (or sign into the new one)
- You will see the devices that are connected to that account at the bottom.
- Select the device you want to separate, and you will have the option to remove it.
Here are a few possible reasons why your account may have been disabled: Repeatedly entering an incorrect Apple ID and password. Not using your Apple account for an extended amount of time. Billing issues such as unpaid iTunes or App Store orders.
On your iOS device, Settings > [your name] > iTunes & App Store and Sign Out. Then Sign in using your new Apple ID password. On Mac, open App Store (Store > Sign Out) and iTunes (Account > Sign Out) and then sign out and then sign in.
For many people, using a personal AppleID for just the App Store is super low risk and you can manage to not auto install apps and control what app history you wish to share with work. Without MDM, they can't modify settings, wipe the device, lock the device, unlock the device.
Key Difference: The Apple ID and iCloud ID are accounts from Apple Inc. The Apple ID is used to log into the iCloud. In both the accounts, only Apple users can log in. The Apple Account and iCloud Account are two different accounts but can be accessed with the same e-mail ID.
To change the Apple ID you're using for iCloud, you first have to delete your existing iCloud account from your device and then configure a new one. This will not automatically delete data from your iPhone in all cases, although you'll be prompted in some to decide whether you want to do so.
The App Store, iMessage and FaceTime are linked with your Apple ID. If you sign out of Apple ID, these services will sign out automatically. You should sign back of these services respectively with an Apple ID. If you don't want to use an Apple ID to sign back iMessage and FaceTime, you can also use your phone number.
Open iTunes on your computer while holding down the "Shift" key. Select "Create Library" from the pop-up menu box that appears. Create a name for the new library and click "Save." iTunes will open the newly created library.
Storing multiple backups
Both iTunes and iCloud will overwrite your existing backups and save only the latest data. On your computer, you can create a backup, move or archive that backup and then create another backup. You can create as many backups as you want so long as you have space on your hard drive.Merging two individual accounts is not possible, however playing content from one of the accounts in the other is. All you have to do is have both accounts authorized to the device you are using. Download all purchases to iTunes, and you can play them both.
On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
- Go to Settings > [your name] > Family Sharing. If you're using iOS 10.2 or earlier, go to Settings > iCloud > Family.
- Tap the name of the family member that you want to remove.
- Tap Remove.
Although it is recommended to have one Apple ID for all Apple services, you can use two different Apple IDs for iCloud and iTunes store purchases. iPad, iPhone and iPod touch: Settings > iCloud and enter your iCloud Apple ID. Settings > Store and sign in the Apple ID for your store purchases.
