If you accepted an invitation from someone to share a Google calendar but aren't seeing it on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac; it could be due to your Google Sync settings. Google turns sync off by default for new calendars, particularly shared ones.
You can view someone else's calendar
if they've shared it with you.
Show or hide a calendar you're subscribed to
- Open the Google Calendar app .
- At the top left, tap Menu Settings .
- Tap the calendar you want to view. Optional: To find more calendars, tap Show more.
- Check or uncheck your preferred calendar.
You can also view your calendar in the browser by going to calendar.google.com or selecting the Calendar tab at the top of your Gmail app. By using the Calendar in your mobile browser, you can view your schedule, create events, invite guest, and respond to event invitations.
Add or remove a delegate
- On your computer, open Gmail.
- In the top right, click Settings.
- Click the Accounts and Import or Accounts tab.
- In the "Grant access to your account" section, click Add another account.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to add.
- Click Next Step.
In your manager's calendar, go to the My calendars section, and click the down arrow that appears to the right of your manager's name. Select Share this calendar from the drop-down. In the Person field, type your primary email address. In the drop-down menu, select the appropriate permission, and then click Save.
How do I create events on behalf of my manager, principal or director?
- Click the arrow next to 'My calendars'
- Next to his primary calendar, click the arrow.
- Click 'Share this Calendar'
- Under 'Share with specific people', enter your email address.
- Click the arrow and select 'Make changes AND manage sharing'
In Calendar, click Share, and then click the name of the calendar you want to share. Click Share with people you choose. Click the To box and enter the email address for someone you want to share with. Repeat Step 3 to add any other people with whom you want to share the same level of access.
Schedule a meeting on someone else's behalf
- At the top of the page, select the app launcher. , and select Calendar.
- Make sure that you can see their calendar in your list of calendars.
- Select.
- In the Save to calendar field, select their calendar.
- Fill out the rest of the fields as needed.
- Send the meeting request.
What must you do to fully trust your calendar? Your calendar must be the only place where you schedule things. You must use your calendar one day and sticky notes the next day. You must use an electronic calendar.
Google Calendar allows you to create, add or modify any event from other person's calendar if he/she has shared Google Calendar with you. Similarly they can make changes to your Google Calendar if you have shared it with them and allowed them to do so under the 'Permission' field.
Take care of this with the following steps:
- Log into your Google Calendar.
- Click the gear icon and click Settings from the drop-down.
- Click Event Settings from the left navigation.
- Locate and click the Automatically Add Invites drop-down (Figure A).
- Select No, Only Show Invitations To Which I Have Responded.
To see the invitation status of the people you invited to your meeting, all you need to do is click on the blue “Attendees” link next to your Meeting in your calendar. If there is a green “Accepted” button then your invitee has agreed to come to your meeting.
