No. In principle, you could do that, but it's not advisable, for the simple reason that if either school finds out you've accepted another offer, then both schools could end up rescinding their offers, and would be within their rights to do so. Basically, you need to commit to one school only.
What happens if you don't meet your conditional offer? At face value, if a student does not reach the standards expected of them in their conditional offer, they are likely to miss out on the offer entirely, though, universities have been known to make exceptions to this rule.
Can I reply to more than two offers? You can accept a maximum of two choices – one firm and one insurance. You can only have an insurance choice if your firm choice is a conditional offer.
If you no longer want to go to your firm choice, you can use the 'decline your place' button in Track. From 6 July, if you are holding a firm unconditional place, you can release yourself into Clearing, by using the 'decline your place' button in Track.
A conditional offer means you still need to meet the requirements – usually exam results. An unconditional offer means you've got a place, although there might still be a few things to arrange. An unsuccessful or withdrawn choice removes that option, but you could add more.
Of course you can. You can choose not to attend a university any time from the day you get admitted to the day you graduate. Usually when you accept a university's offer of admission, you must include a deposit towards tuition. If you later decide not to enroll, you will likely lose the deposit.
Your contract with the University begins as soon as you accept your offer. If you want to cancel your place, you should do so within 14 days. You have the right to cancel your acceptance of a firm or insurance offer. You do not have to give a reason for cancelling your place.
As far as we know, a university's unconditional offer is contractually binding. The only circumstance in which they should be able to change this decision is if the course is cancelled.
