So, this could have been some kind of study hall with students of mixed grades, or perhaps Yugi and Joey were taking an advanced level class that Kaiba was in, but whatever the reason for them being in the same room, the other evidence does tell us that Seto Kaiba is at least 18 years old in the English version.
It is sometimes said that in addition to their Divine-Beast Type, "Obelisk" is a Warrior, "Slifer" is a Dragon, and "Ra" is a Machine.
In episode 218, Kaiba uses this card in the battle against Zorc Necrophades. He summons this card by combining his three "Blue-Eyes White Dragons" cards together (the three "Blue-Eyes" represented the souls of himself, the Priest Seto, and Kisara).
"Obelisk" can be Normal Summoned easily with the Tokens summoned via the Flip effect of "Scapeghost". After summoning you have two tokens left over should you choose to activate "Obelisk's" effect.
Yugi and Kaiba didn't duel all that much in the Anime. Only 3 times. Yugi has the advantage, 2-1. With the one win for Kaiba where he emo'd himself into a win.
“Obelisk the Tormentor” has a unique power that lets you Tribute 2 monsters to destroy all of your opponent's monsters. You can even Tribute Obelisk itself with this effect after you Special Summon it. That's a great way to put Obelisk to use before it's sent to the Graveyard during your End Phase.
Kaiba sacrifices himself during the Duel and makes a final plea for Yugi to call forth Atem. Yugi succeeds in doing so, and he and Atem defeat Diva with ease. Atem and the Millennium Puzzle then fade away, and Kaiba and everyone else return to reality.
Dark Side of Dimensions follows the manga canon, where Pegasus was killed by Bakura, and Kaiba never saw Yugi beat Atem. Bonds Beyond Time however is a celebration of the Yugioh anime, where DM, GX and 5D's occur in the same timeline.
Yugi does so, but right after seeing the Exodia cards, Weevil chucks Yugi's Exodia cards overboard to insure that Yugi can't use them to help him win his Duels in Duelist Kingdom. Despite Joey Wheeler jumping in to try and save the cards, he only recovers two pieces.
Benben was the mound that arose from the primordial waters Nu upon which the creator god Atum settled in the creation story of the Heliopolitan creation myth form of Ancient Egyptian religion. The Benben stone (also known as a pyramidion) is the top stone of the Egyptian pyramid. It is also related to the Obelisk.
In episode 182, Yami Yugi takes back the Egyptian God Cards after he defeats Dartz in a Duel.
Answer : No, the Millennium Items found him. In the final episodes (episode 221) of the Yu-Gi-Oh anime, Yugi and his group travelled to Egypt and enter the underground tomb. The Millennium Items were gathered and put on the stone coffin and both of the souls were separated and they commence their final duel.
Fortunately for Yugi, he was able to defeat Strings without destroying Slifer the Sky Dragon. He turned Strings' combo against him, forcing him to draw infinitely! When Strings ran out of cards in his Deck, Yugi was able to claim the victory, as well as the Egyptian God Card.
There are actually twelve. First up is the three famous Egyptian God Cards: Obelisk the Tormentor. Slifer the Sky Dragon.
An Egyptian God card in the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game, originally named Sky Dragon of Osiris (????????, Oshirisu no Tenkūryū), was renamed "Slifer the Sky Dragon" after Slifer by 4Kids Entertainment employee Sam Murakami.
In order for "Exodia" to regain his tremendous power, all of the five cards must be reunited in the player's hand. This brings the parts of the Forbidden One together, allowing "Exodia" to break free - his strength being so great that he guarantees the Summoner an automatic win, regardless of the situation.
Obelisk's real-life effect only protects the card from being “targeted” by card effects. Dark Hole destroys cards without targeting, so Obelisk can be destroyed by Dark Hole. In the manga, Obelisk, Slifer and Ra are immune to these kinds of effects, because they are god cards by lore.
There is literally a scene where Obelisk literally smashes through Mirror Force, so no, Mirror Force cannot defeat the Gods. I don't even think Mirror Force redirects an attack, it more like bounces.
For a short answer, yes. On their own after they are summoned they can be affected by card effects (obelisk excluded if the effects target). For an o.g. example though, dark hole will destroy any God card. But even with this card out, your gods are still susceptible to untargeted stat changes.
"Obelisk the Tormentor" can be destroyed by effects that do not target, such as "Judgment Dragon", "Lightning Vortex", "Mirror Force", etc.
The baseline strongest of the god cards, which is why he is the most used of the three. 4000 cards reviewed is a huge milestone that I am glad to be a part of. Obelisk the Tormentor is an excellent choice because of the 4000 ATK/Def stats and because of how long it took to be printed for actual gameplay.
Its pretty easy, slifer has 0 protection. Cards like raigeki, dark hole, mirror force, sakeretsu armor. Basically if a card says destroy it can get rid of slifer, or if you have ghost ogre and snow rabbit it can destroy slifer when its effect activates, or you could just kaiju it.

Traps that are activated before, or after a God Card is summoned to the field have no effect. That includes cards such as Gravity Bind and Waboku. While the card's are in the owners hand they are vulnerable to the effects of trap cards such as 'Lightforce Sword'.
"Slifer" can be Summoned in one turn using "Blackwing - Bora the Spear", "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind", any "Blackwing" monster and "Double Summon". First use "Double Summon", then Summon the "Blackwing" monster, then Special Summon "Bora" and "Gale", then Tribute Summon for "Slifer".
This card's Normal Summon cannot be negated. When Normal Summoned, cards and effects cannot be activated. Neither player can target this card with card effects. Once per turn, during the End Phase, if this card was Special Summoned: Send it to the GY.
Obelisk the Tormentor, known as Obelisk the Giant God Soldier in the Japanese version, is a character version of the card "Obelisk the Tormentor", in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime. He is one of the most powerful monster spirits, the Egyptian Gods. His corresponding Duel Monsters card is "Obelisk the Tormentor".
Yu-Gi-Oh!Nightmare Troubadour: The Winged Dragon of Ra
- Pay 1000 Life Points to destroy one monster on the Field and remove it from the game.
- Pay all but 1 Life Points, and increase ATK and DEF by the amount of Life Points paid.
God Cards Illegal Version don't have proper effect. So they considered don't have any effects. the rules in the anime for egyptian god are very confusing in the anime yami marik said that trap card are usless on egyptian god card, and spell card only last for one turn this is why monster reborn only works for one turn.
Only the Spell and Trap cards tha target a monster cannot affect the Egyptian God cards. (e.g. Equip spell cards) All the other types of spell and traps affect them normally. If you use Dark Hole you can remove the Egyptian God cards as well.
