Application Submission flow:
- Click on "Apply for Convocation" button at the end of Instructions.
- Enter Enrollment Number and hit Search Button.
- Check your all details which are already given in the Application Form.
- Fill all remaining information in the Application Form and click on “Update & Generate Form” button.
54th Annual Convocation of Bangalore University. Eligibility to apply 54thAnnual Convocation:- Only those candidates who have been declared successful in the degree examination during May / June 2018 and earlier periods and who have not taken the degree certificate till now.
A Provisional Certificate is issued to a student who has passed the University EXamination or a Board Examination, and the actual certificates are yet to be issued. To enable the students to pursue higher education, a Provisional certificate is issued as a stand by arrangement.
Requirements to get the Duplicate documents:
- Make an Affidavit on Rs. 20 Stamp Paper.
- Write a complain letter to a police station and get an FIR filed.
- Go to a police station.
- Make an Online Payment for your required certificates.
- Fill the application form.
- Submit.
For DUPLICATE DEGREE, candidate has to submit an Affidavit paper of Rs. 20/- attested by Oath Commissioner having the reason mentioned to applying for duplicate degree. CANDIDATES FROM OTHER CITIES can send this form (with all requisite attested Documents) to the Degree Cell,Department of Examinations.
Provisional certificate is a proof of completion of degree without any outstanding arrears. It stands as a temporary degree certificate until graduation and in most cases provisional certificate is of no use after getting the actual degree certificate.
To get provisional certificate you have to wait 6–7 working days. At First you have to take the form from University's counter and then after filling it you have to submit it in the University 's office with all supporting documents like Final year admit/ marksheet and a Forwarding letter from college.
Provisional certificate is granted to students on behalf of the original certificate who passes the University or Board Examination, and it certifies that you have undergone the education mentioned in the certificate. For most universities, the actual certificates are issued after a convocation.

A provisional certificate is produced by college or university telling that you have completed your graduation. Migration certificate is issued by the university after finishing university exam. The certificate is used when you change your board or university. Transfer certificate is issued when you pass out.
Usually students have two choices after intermediate one is degree and another one is diploma. Degree is a long term course whereas diploma is a short term course. Degree is about 3 to 4 years and diploma is about 6months to 3 years. Degree will take more fee on the other hand diploma will take less fee.
Degree certificate is issued to the qualifying members of any University. It is an educational qualification. Convocation is the ceremony during which the educational qualifications are bestowed upon qualifying students. So, typically a Degree certificate is issued in the Convocation ceremony.
1. Original Degree is issued to the passing out students during convocation. If a student cannot attend the convocation, he/she (or his/her authorized person who is a student/employee of the Institute/relative of the alumni) can collect the certificate personally from the Academics Office at a later date.
MINIMUM FOR A PASS:
Candidates who have obtained a minimum of 35% marks in university examination (i.e. 25 marks out of 70 marks of theory examination) and 40% in aggregate (i.e., total of university examination and internal assessment marks) in each subject shall be eligible for a pass or exemption in that subject.A valid E-mail and Mobile Number are mandatory for fee payment. The Processing Fee is Rs. 200/- (Two hundred only) for GM and Rs. 100/-(One hundred only) for SC/ ST/Cat-I applicants for all PG Courses except LLM.
