NEW DELHI : Around 125 departmental stores selling wine and beer have been asked to remain shut from today in Delhi by the state government for violating excise rules. According to the rules, all such liquor outlets can only use around 10-15% space for selling beer and wine in a departmental store.

The Delhi government on Monday decided to make amendments in the Delhi Excise Rule, 2010, and allow setting up of liquor vends at the arrival lounge of T3. Soon, they will be able to buy liquor at Terminal 3 (T3) of Indira Gandhi International Airport just like their international counterparts.
