Vauxhall has also ensured that there's some usable space beneath the boot floor, and this is ideal for stowing more valuable or fragile items. This space exists because the Mokka X comes with a tyre inflation kit instead of a spare wheel; a space-saver spare wheel is available as an option.

For what is now quite an old car, the Mokka did well to achieve a 25th place in our Driver Power 2018 survey. The undoubted high spots are the model's infotainment systems, plus the cabin and comfort, both of which got top-10 placings; safety scored well, too. Owners are less impressed by its practicality, however.
The Juke's boot is much improved over the original, and now offers 422 litres of boot space. That's well up on the 400 litres of the Skoda Kamiq and SEAT Arona, though it's not as capacious as the Citroen C3 Aircross and its enormous 520 litre boot (but that's when the seats are slid further forwards).

The winter pack equips your Vauxhall Mokka with heated front seats and even a heated steering wheel allowing you to stay warm no matter how the temperature dips outside.
The Opel Mokka is a crossover SUV engineered and built by German automotive marque Opel since 2012. Sales began with the model year of 2013, at the end of 2012. The Mokka is now built in Bupyeong, South Korea and Zaragoza, Spain.
The Mokka will be available in front-wheel drive and four-wheel drive forms, with the lower-spec models having five-speed manual gearboxes while higher-spec versions and 4x4s have six-speeders. Several automatic models will be available but with 2WD only. The entire 4x4 system adds only 65kg to overall weight.
The Mokka is no better than many front-wheel drive hatchbacks in snow, it's noisy, and it seems expensive for what it is; but despite all that, people will probably still buy it. The Mokka gets a Green-Car-Guide rating of 6 out of 10.

The former is based on the Peugeot 3008, the latter on the 2008. The Mokka is older, based on the Gamma II platform that also underpins the Vauxhall Viva, although size-wise it falls into the gap between Nissan's Juke and Qashqai.

Vauxhall Mokka X no longer available. Vauxhall has stopped taking orders for its Mokka X compact SUV after production of the model ended in June. The Nissan Juke rival will be replaced next year with a new model that will feature a fully electric powertrain.
