With Schneizel about to fully gain C.C.'s powers and her immortality, Suzaku reveals himself as a Regulator, negating Schneizel's ability and then kills him with his sword. With Schneizel now dead, C.C.'s powers are instead transferred to Suzaku, now possessing all of her abilities and her immortality.
I think Schneizel is indeed smarter than Lelouch, yes. The chess contest (whatever you can say about chess and Code Geass) proved it quite efficiently. However, Lelouch sent the ball back, at the end, by anticipating Schneizel's actions like Schneizel did during the chess game.
Her real name is Yuki Shiroi (snow white) in Japanese. Lelouch used a word play right after he repeats her name (muted by the sound of a water drop) to say that he likes her name, saying: “C.C. I don't know why the snow is white, but I think white snow is pretty, I don't hate it”.

So to answer your question about C.C.: In the original series, she's alive and mourning Lelouch's death, but she comforts herself knowing that Lelouch has died to achieve his goals, the Zero Requiem. This can be seen in the remade epilogue from 2009.

Suzaku kills Lelouch in the end because he was finally able to achieve Euphemia's dream of a unified world, and because the world needed a future. In carrying out his execution of Lelouch, he finally forgives Lelouch because he understood his reason of why he did what he did, for the good of the world.

Most people hate Suzaku Kururugi for number of reasons. He kept on interfering in Zero's plan in order to show loyalty to the Britannia. He kept Lelouch away from His beloved Sister Nunally. He is a coward who can't chose his own path.
In the novel "issue zero" it is revealed that Suzaku killed his father months before the fighting officially started. After hearing that his father will sacrifice the Japanese military by refusing to surrender to Britannia, Genbu also plans to kill Nunnally as a political favor to an unnamed member of the royal family.

Before Ragnarok begins, Anya is taken over by Marianne before leaving with C.C. to a Twilight Gate to reach the Sword of Akasha. At this point, she leaves Anya's body, and later dies when Lelouch uses his Geass on God. This would mean the Geass Affliction Anya had is now dispelled.

Later on, without his Code's immortality sustaining him, he eventually succumbed to his wounds in the presence of C.C. In a flashback, it is revealed that V.V. was the one who assassinated Marianne, having done so out of jealousy.
He escaped from his Machine in seconds before it blew up, again Live Geass doesnt give him any super powers. Kallen got the hit first and she went down first and passed out first as well, while Suzaku ofcourse was still alive and had survive an explosion of his mecha in seconds.

From the very beginning he wanted to create a world in whihc his sister could live without complications. He promised to purge the would of evil and everything that is wrong. At the end He, Lelouch became the ultimate evil in the world, and he "purged it" with the symbol he also created.

Despite her later hatred towards Lelouch, this hatred did not extend to Nunnally. She got along with Nunnally during childhood and ever since she heard about their supposed death, she began to hate foreigners. Like Euphemia, Cornelia deeply treasures Nunnally to the point where she was willing to go against Schneizel.
