Jamoke. Definition: coffee. Jamoke is an alteration of jamocha. Both words originated in naval slang in the late 1890s and quickly found a home in the parlance of hobos and gangsters. They blend Java and Mocha, names for two places where coffee has long been grown.
Jamocha is basically mocha with an extra syllable. Semantics aside, we do enjoy coffee and chocolate flavors, especially when blended together in freezy deliciousness. But not just any mocha shake will do! Not something you need to be consuming just because you're craving the sweet flavor of (sigh) jamocha.

Baskin-Robbins, the world's largest chain of specialty ice cream shops, is introducing a sweet spin on a classic with its newest Flavor of the Month, Pumpkin Cheesecake.
