Hide your caller ID for all calls
- Open the Voice app .
- At the top left, tap Menu. Settings.
- Under Calls, turn Anonymous Caller ID On . If you want people to see your phone number when you call them, turn Anonymous Caller ID Off .
Caller ID settings
- From any Home screen, tap Phone.
- Tap Menu > Settings >More settings.
- Tap Show my caller ID and select one of the following options: Network default. Hide number. Show number.
To block your number on Android:
- Open the Phone app, and open the Menu.
- Select Settings, then Call settings.
- Click on Additional settings, then Caller ID.
- Choose “Hide number†and your number will be hidden.
Use *67 to hide your phone numberOpen your phone's keypad and dial * - 6 - 7, followed by the number you're trying to call. The free process hides your number, which will show up on the other end as “Private†or “Blocked†when reading on caller ID.
To hide your number for one call, enter 141 before the number you're calling. If you've hidden your caller identity, enter 1470 before the number to show it for that call. If you want to hide your number for an international call, enter 00 instead of + before the number you're calling.

All you have to do is add 141 to the beginning of the number you're calling and the receiver will not be able to see who you are; instead they'll be presented with Private Number or No Caller ID. The 141 code also works for home phones, so you can mask the origin of a call even on your landline.
Three Way Calling is quick and easy conference calling that saves you making lots of different calls at different times. To talk to two callers separately, press 2 instead of 3 when the second caller answers. If you want to switch between the two callers, press Recall, wait for the dial tone and then press 2.
When you hear a busy tone after dialling a telephone number, simply dial 5. A recorded message will tell you if your Ring Back request has been accepted. If it has, you can hang up and your phone will keep trying that number until it's free. When it is, your phone will ring and you'll be connected.
To do this, please follow these steps:
- Launch your Phone app.
- Go to the Search bar on the Phone app.
- Tap the three vertically-aligned dots to access the drop-down Menu.
- Go to Settings > Calls.
- Select Additional Settings > Caller ID.
- Enable Hide Number to activate this feature.
Dial 141 before the number you are dialling.Make the call and 'Number withheld' will be displayed to the receiving party - hiding your number.
To use the service, simply dial *119*recipient's number# and send. This service is absolutely free of charge and only available to Vodafone prepaid customers.
Using 141. If you're not withholding your number permanently, you can use 141 to withhold your number on a call-by-call basis. Just dial 141 followed by the number you want to call.
BT 1471 tells you the last number that called - unless the caller withheld their number by dialling '141' before dialling your number, or the call came from a switchboard extension number. 1471 is always active and useful even if you have an answering machine.
Follow the following steps:
- Open the phone app on your device. This is the app you use to call others.
- Tap on the three dots in the top right corner and select “Settingsâ€.
- Open “Call Settingsâ€.
- Select the SIM card you're currently using.
- Go to “additional settingsâ€.
- Tap on “Caller IDâ€.
- Select “Hide Numberâ€.
The person calling you has withheld their number by using 141 before dialling. 141 only temporarily hides it- after you call using this your number will be shown the next time you call someone.
Yes, this is the same system used on landlines, first introduced to stop people getting your number when they dialled 1471. You can do the same on a mobile.
