Exclusive expedited SkyPriority security lines are available at select airports. The expedited security lines are offered during peak times and can change locations. Sky Priority signs are available to locate these lines or simply ask a Delta representative for directions.
Priority boarding will only be available on Delta and Delta Connection® carrier operated flights. Delta does not offer priority boarding on Delta Shuttle® flights. To receive the savings, Cardmembers must use their Delta SkyMiles [Business] Credit Card from American Express to complete the in-flight purchase.

One of these benefits is often priority (or preferred) boarding. It exists so you can board the plane before most passengers, and you'll have plenty of time to find bin space for your carry-on and settle into your seat before the frenzied reprobates stampede aboard. This is a great benefit! Most of the time.

Sky Priority can help get you ahead of security lines at some airports abroad. TSA PreCheck is US only. With the Sky Priority TSA lane in the US, you still have to take off your shoes, take out your electronics and liquids, etc.
Speed through check-in, security and boardingLook for 'Priority' signs when you check in at the American Airlines counter, go through security and at the gate. For faster boarding, proceed when the Priority boarding group is called and board even earlier if you're a First or Business passenger or elite status member.

Delta the only U.S. airline to block middle seats, limit onboard capacity through March 30, 2021. Blocking seats into spring 2021 provides added confidence and reassurance for customers booking future travel plans.
Within 24 hours of your departure, you can check in and notify Delta of the number of bags you will check on delta.com or on the Fly Delta app. If you've already checked in, drop your bags at Baggage Drop. You may also check in and pay for bags at the airport.
For most airports, you must be checked in at least 30 minutes before your scheduled departure time (airports requiring additional time are listed here, Go to footer note) Additionally, you're required to be at the gate and ready to board 15 minutes before scheduled departure.
