they are not immortal but they do age very slowly.
Trigun was ended before it was intended because the magazine where it was published, Shōnen Captain, was cancelled. The anime is based on Trigun only, as its air date was the same year that Trigun Maximum started publication.
Whenever a plant uses their energy, their hair slowly turns black, and whenever it becomes completely black, they die. Thus, Vash doesn't heal because he'd rather live with his scars than outright die. Except that he never knew about the black hair thing until decades after he got the scars.

A bounty of 60,000,000,000$$ is then placed on Vash, dead or alive, the largest bounty ever placed. It is at this time two insurance agents, Meryl Stryfe and Milly Thompson, are assigned to find and watch Vash in order to prevent further damage wherever he goes.Trigun season 1 premiered on Apr 1, 1998 and ended its 26 episode run on Sep 30, 1998. In addition, the creator of the series, Yasuhiro Nightow has expressly stated that no new seasons for the anime will be produced, mainly due to the “finality” of the anime's ending.

Anime. The anime shows Legato in a less sympathetic light. In the anime, Legato is far less emotional than his manga counterpart and it is never explained why he joined Knives. Legato is simply a sadistic nihilist who is determined to torment Vash and aid Knives in his quest to eradicate humanity.
When Vash's Angel Arms went off in July, it destroyed the city, but no one died (it's mentioned by that chick who tried to kill Vash by shutting him up in the plant). All the people died later from starvation, exposure, whatever. Vash didn't kill anyone there, though.
Legato insists that it is okay and that he has no reason to continue living. Seeing that his words are not working on Vash, he threatens to kill Milly and Meryl if Vash doesn't finish him off. Feeling like he has no other option, Vash shoots Legato in the head.
If you round to 15, it's $18. You can safely say that one double dollar is approximately equal to fifty cents ($$1 = $0.50) which, whether on purpose or a total lucky mistake by the author of Trigun, makes a lot of sense, in a weird reverse way.
Base Of Operations: Mobile on planet Gunsmoke. Height: 5'11” Weight: 160 lbs.
No Man's Land or Gunsmoke (in the anime) is a desert planet and the primary location in which events take place in the Trigun series. It is located within the binary star system Delta Trianguli (Delta Tri), and is known to have at least five moons orbiting it.
Millions Knives. Millions Knives (?????·???? Mirionzu Naibuzu) is a fictional character from the anime and manga series Trigun. Within the story he is Vash the Stampede's sinister twin brother and is the main antagonist of the story.
Plant (Trigun) Plants are inter-dimensional beings that are tapped as a source of power and energy for the planet Gunsmoke, a planet within the Trigun series universe. They are beings that can generate energy and even food and water based on environmental conditions.
Vash is possibly stronger than most human beings as seen when he was able to use Wolfwood's Punisher (although he did comment on its weight). As seen in the anime Vash has carried Meryl and Milly after he ruined a car ride. Finally, his intelligence is stated to be superior to that of most (if not all) humans.
Trigun remains one of the few anime series whose popularity in the West far exceeds that in its native Japan. There are currently 26 episodes streaming. (Note: this series is currently not available on US Netflix).
Trigun means three guns (tri meaning three) Vash the Stampede has three guns to his name, but the third gun shows up in episode 16. Vash's first gun is his silver hand gun with the barrel marked "45 LONG COLT AGL FACTORY".
They're both the same story, Trigun is where you start reading, and Trigun: Maximum picks up directly after where the first series ends. They're split up into different series because the magazine that the first series was being published in shut down, and it got picked up by another magazine under a different name.
Pretty much everybody will agree that it is good and is a classic. The problems is that it apparently isn't as good as the manga, and it can get a bit silly at times. But overall, it is a really good show and certainly worth watching.
He battles his childhood friend, Livio the Double Fang , and his crippled master in a two volume face off. He manages to mortally wound Chapel and defeat Livio the Double Fang and Razlo the Tri-Punisher of Death, but having overdosed on the regenerative vials, he soon dies while having a last drink with Vash.
The Angel Arm is a natural ability found in all Plants. Capable of a wide variety of forms, these Angel Arms are most commonly known for their usage by Vash and Knives in which they appear as enormous cannons with the faces and wings of angel's (thus their name).
There is not too much romance, but definitely enough plot and action to keep you intrigued with some romance thrown in. A lot of people didn't care for the romance, but I personally loved it, and there is TONS of AWESOME action and plot in this movie series.
To answer your question, yes it is Shonen, however it did not run in Shonen Jump, it ran in Monthly Shonen Captain. So unfortunately Vash will not make an appearance in the game.
Trigun Season 2 Release Date: When will it premiere? Trigun season 1 premiered on Apr 1, 1998 and ended its 26 episode run on Sep 30, 1998. The chances of the anime being revived for a second run is extremely unlikely given that no news have been released for the same in the last 15 years.
