Re: Can't watch itv live programmes through now tv boxIf it is on the hub live channels, that is because ITV don't have the rights to stream the content through the app. It isn't Nowtv.
Even though the Harry Potter franchise is technically a WarnerMedia property since the films were distributed by Warner Bros., and therefore should be housed on Warner's platform HBO Max, there's a deal dating back to 2016 that gives NBCUniversal the TV and digital rights to the films until 2025.
If that was not enough bad news for Harry Potter fans in the U.S., here's some more: Not only are the Harry Potter movies not on Netflix, but they are not available to stream at all in the U.S. currently. Currently, the Harry Potter movies are only streaming on Netflix in the following countries (per uNoGS):
Starting with Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone on 8th September (at 5.50pm), the eight films will air every Saturday on ITV over the Autumn, culminating with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows (Part 2) on 27th October.
None of the Harry Potter films will be broadcast over the Christmas period. The seemingly endless supply of festive family films being broadcast is one of the best things about the Christmas period, but Harry Potter fans may be disappointed by this year's line-up.
