Currently for Sky mobile users on a contract, calls to numbers starting 0500, 0800, 0808 or 116 are free. For customers on pay as you go or contracts, calls to numbers starting 055 or 056 are 45p per minute.

Since 2017, UK consumers have, within reason, been able to use the minutes, texts and data included on their mobile phone tariffs when travelling in the EU.
Mobile telephone networks differ from country to country, and your phone may be incompatible with the networks in the country you are visiting. Your phone might work for voice calls, but other functions – such as text messaging or sending and receiving data – might not.
Is it free to use my phone in Europe now? It is free to use your phone in European countries as if you were at home. You will still pay your normal monthly or pay as you go bill, but you won't be charged extra for using your minutes, texts and data when you're on holiday.
The UK has now left the EU. This means that surcharge-free roaming when you travel to EU and EEA countries is no longer guaranteed. This includes employees of UK companies travelling in the EU for business.
The O2 Travel Inclusive Zone Bolt On, included with selected O2 Refresh and sim only tariffs, lets you roam in 75 destinations at no extra cost. Your data, minutes and text allowances will work in our Europe Zone, just like they do at home. There's no upper usage limit on data, but data speeds might vary.
Roaming charges can get expensive, so if you're traveling outside your cellular plan's coverage area (which generally means international travel), you might want to turn off data roaming on your Android device. Don't worry about being left without internet.
Here are some tips on how to avoid big charges.
