Re: does a 5x114 fit on a 5x100 (Kanmuri86)You cant put a 5x114. 3 wheel on a 5x100 hub without drilling new holes.
PLEASE TAKE NOTE, THESE ARE CONVERSION ADAPTERS TO CHANGE YOUR BOLT PATTERN OF YOUR VEHICLE. THESE WILL ALLOW YOU TO FIT WHEELS THAT ARE 5X100 ON A CAR THAT HAS A 5X110 BOLT PATTERN.
5x112 and 5x114. 3 are two different sizes and not directly interchangeable.
They are both the same, just one is measured in inches and the other is in mm. If you saw an auction for a set of wheels that are 5x100/5x114. 3 this most likely means the wheels will fit both bolt patterns and have 10 lug holes around the center bore of the wheel to allow fitment of both bolt patterns.
well, 5x120 is a larger radius than 5x112 so shouldnt the imaginary circumference made by the lug pattern & distance between each hole fit?

If the wheel isn't marked the easiest way to check is to measure the distance between the center of two adjacent holes, knowing the number of holes its simple math to figure out the diameter, for a 5x100 adjacent holes would be 58.78mm(2.31in) apart and for 5x114. 3 it would be 67.18mm(2.64in).
They're the same, it's just an old school term. I've heard people refer to 5x4 when actually talking about 5x100. Yeah, it's rounded off, but it's slang, kinda. The basis is that most people think there are exactly 25mm in an inch.
The two easiest ways are to check the sticker plate in your car, it should be located inside the driver side door, or look online for the vehicle specifications for your exact make and model. That should tell you the standard rim size.

If the bolt pattern is the same they will work. The offset is how far the wheels stick out. So if the offsets are way off the wheels may sit really far out or too far in. What wheels or types of wheels would look good on a Mercedes?
The offset of a wheel is the distance from the hub mounting surface to the center line of the wheel. The wheel offset is measured in millimeters and results in a positive, negative, or zero offset. Negative offset is when the hub mounting surface is toward the back or brake side of the wheels centerline.

Mercedes wheels are actually a 5x112 and BMW's are actually a 5x120. 1 to the m6 reps. They will look way better than any mb wheels, and it's the same basic design. And they won't make your ride look like a frankencar.
5x112 Wheels will fit 5x114. 3 applications
So 5x112 audi rims wont work. We can fit some toyota, Nissan, infiniti rims among others. Another thing you have to consider is bore size. Our hub is 60.1 so the rims have to have a bore larger than that.
