Care.com will take 2 percent of the existing 12 percent transaction fee it charges families and contribute that money to benefits for those families' caregivers. Families have the option to raise that transaction fee to 14 percent and give the additional two percentage points to their caregivers.

You can browse and apply for available jobs quickly and easily online. Free Basic Members can click to apply on jobs and submit their Care.com profile. Paid Premium Members have the additional option of adding a personal message to their profile as an application for a job.
A Social Security Number verification process for caregivers. An in-depth background check that includes federal and county-level criminal records checks dating back seven years. These checks, which will be paid for by Care.com, will be conducted by a leading provider of background checks and identity services.
If your employer never withheld any taxes from your earnings all year, you both have some catching up to do. If your employer is overwhelmed by the process, let them know that Care.com HomePay can take care of those tax and payroll issues for them.

Verification of your Social Security Number is required with our enhanced caregiver screening and caregivers are allowed two attempts to verify their SSN. Unfortunately, Care.com does not know the reason why an SSN Trace cannot be completed.
How do I cancel my Premium membership?
- Go into your phone or tablet's Settings.
- Click on your name.
- Click on "Subscriptions".
- Select Care.com.
- Click “Cancel Subscription”.
- Confirm Cancellation.
Just log into your account, locate the care provider's profile, scroll to the Reviews section, and click the Write a review button.
Click “Account and Settings.” Scroll Down to the “Membership Information” Section and Click the “Close Account” Button. Press the “No thanks, cancel my membership” option then select a reason for why you are closing your account. Press Continue.
According to Care.com's Terms and conditions, you cannot get a partial refund. If you wish to downgrade, you must wait until the end of your billing cycle. If you wish to downgrade, go to the section 'Membership Information' in your 'Account & Settings' page. Subscriptions on Care.com are non-refundable.
