Steps to add a device via Bluetooth in Windows 10
- Make sure Bluetooth is On.

Here's how: Right-click on the sound icon on the lower-right of your computer screen, then click Sounds. Click the Playback tab, unplug and then re-plug your headphone into the headphone jack to make sure Headphones (or Speakers/Headphones, same as below) is checked, then click OK.

If you've got a reasonable modern Windows 10 laptop, it's got Bluetooth. If you have a desktop PC, it might or might not have Bluetooth built, but you can always add it if you want.
Right-click the sound icon in the taskbar. Select Open sound settings. Choose Sound control panel on the right. Select the headphones (should have a green tick).
Make sure your headphones are properly connected to your laptop. Right-click the volume icon on the bottom left of your screen, and select Sounds. Click the Playback tab. In Windows 10, the Bluetooth toggle is missing from Settings > Network & Internet > Airplane mode. This issue may occur if no Bluetooth drivers are installed or the drivers are corrupt.
There just isn't enough bandwidth available to Bluetooth devices, as Sennheiser explains. For a PC headset with an integrated microphone, Bluetooth is a terrible choice. You're better off getting a wired headset, or even just getting a separate microphone.
Connect the USB cable from the wireless adapter base station to an empty USB port on the computer. Connect the charging cable on the base station to the wireless headphones or install batteries in the headset if required.
Right click on the Windows Start button in the lower left corner on the screen. Or press Windows Key + X on your keyboard simultaneously. Then click on Device Manager on the shown menu. If Bluetooth is on the list of computer parts in Device Manager, then rest assured your laptop has Bluetooth.
If it has Bluetooth you need to troubleshoot it : Start - Settings - Update & Security - Troubleshoot - "Bluetooth" and "Hardware and Devices" troubleshooters. Check with your System/Motherboard maker and install the latest Bluetooth Drivers. Ask their support and in their forums about any known issues.
Windows 7
- Click Start --> Devices and Printers.
- Right-click your computer in the list of devices and select Bluetooth settings.
- Select the Allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer checkbox in the Bluetooth Settings window, and then click OK.
- To pair the device, go to Start --> Devices and Printers --> Add a device.
