Adolph's Tenderizer contains an enzyme that comes from pineapple called bromelain. Apparently, bromelain makes dog poop taste bad enough that dogs don't want to eat it. You could substitute a few chunks of fresh pineapple (not canned) with each meal to have the same effect.
It is actually toxic to your lawn, causing burns and unsightly discoloring. Beyond your grass, it has been estimated that a single gram of dog waste can contain 23 million fecal coliform bacteria, which are known to cause cramps, diarrhea, intestinal illness, and serious kidney disorders in humans.
Horse manure is an excellent fertilizer and can improve soil conditions. There are no known toxic effects on humans due to exposure to horse manure. The pathogens that do exist in horse leavings require ingestion to create a health risk, typically abdominal discomfort.

Ivermectin toxicity cannot be reversed. If the drug was given within the past 4 – 6 hours, your veterinarian may induce vomiting and/or give your dog activated charcoal to help minimize the amount of ivermectin that is absorbed.
There is no legislation to obligate horse riders to uplift any dung dropped on the road or path ways, however they are encouraged if safe to do so then to dismount and kick it to the side out the way of other path or road users. The council has no enforcement powers to force horse riders to clear up after their horses.
As I noted earlier, horse feed generally isn't harmful for dogs. However, when the feed contains non-food items, such as herbs and over-the-counter ingredients or if you top-dress the feed with products, such as dewormer or medication, it is important to prevent your dog from eating any of it.

Parelaphostrongylus tenuis. Parelaphostrongylus tenuis (also known as meningeal worm or brainworm) is a neurotropic nematode parasite common to white-tailed deer, Odocoileus virginianus, which causes damage to the central nervous system.
The biggest potential problem you face in having so many deer droppings in your garden is the potential for the transmission of E. coli and chronic wasting disease (CWD), a deer and elk disease similar to mad cow disease. But they do not recommend eating meat from a deer that has tested positive for CWD.
Dogs Rolling in Poop May be Using Camouflage
Like their predecessors, pet dogs may roll in poop and other unpleasant-smelling material in order to mask their own scent. If its own smell was camouflaged with the smell of poop, the predator would have an easier time hunting its prey.Squirrel droppings closely resemble rat feces. Both pests' poop is dark brown and smooth, but squirrels leave larger, barrel-shaped pellets behind while rats produce small, oblong-shaped droppings with tapered ends.

Roundworms do pose a significant risk to humans. Contact with contaminated soil or dog feces can result in human ingestion and infection. Roundworm eggs may accumulate in significant numbers in the soil where pets deposit feces. Once infected, the worms can cause eye, lung, heart and neurologic signs in people.
As a rule, they should be wormed every 2 weeks until they are 12 weeks old, then once monthly until they are 6 months old and then at least every three months for life after that.
Ivermectin is used to treat strongyloidiasis (threadworm; infection with a type of roundworm that enters the body through the skin, moves through the airways and lives in the intestines).
Pelodera Dermatitis. Pelodera dermatitis is a rare skin worm infestation that causes a short-term skin infection. The condition is caused when larvae of roundworms known as Pelodera strongyloides invade the skin.
You may be surprised to see worms in your dog's droppings after deworming them, but rest assured that this is normal. Some dewormers paralyse and kill the worms, which may be visible in your dog's faeces after the treatment has started to work.
