UPS Print and Mail Return LabelUPS can also print and mail a return label to your customer for you, providing a suitable returns option for a variety of circumstances, including product recalls.
Step by Step
- Select the History Tab.
- Select the order you want to prepare a Return Shipping Label for.
- The Order Details panel will open. Click Return Label.
- Click Continue.
- We suggest checking this box to have a copy of the Return Shipping Label email sent to you for your records.
- Select Send.
- That's it!
If you need to ship packages, whether it is because you are selling old books, movies, and games or giving gifts, you can quickly print all kinds of shipping labels absolutely free. Services such as FedEx or UPS already allow you to do this, so the focus of this post will be on the United States Postal Service.
If you do not have a pouch, affix the folded label using clear plastic shipping tape over the entire label area. Be careful not to obscure or damage the bar codes or addresses. You can also print labels on label stock and affix them to your package.
Can I print my label on regular printer paper? A. Yes! You can print your labels on 8 1/2" x 11" paper, or you can purchase self-adhesive labels that meet the size requirements of the label.
If you ship via USPS, then your postage costs will be lower if you print your labels through eBay. The USPS site charges the retail price and eBay charges the discounted online rate.
For items weighing 3 pounds or less, it is usually cheaper and faster to ship USPS priority mail than UPS ground. Also if your item is extremely fragile or can be easily crushed, you should ship priority mail.
What Is the Best Way to Print Shipping Labels?
- Suggestion #1: Using a Label Printer and Adhesive 4×6 Labels. Our first suggestion (and our favorite way to print shipping labels) is to use a label printer.
- Suggestion #2: Using a Regular Printer and Standard Computer Paper.
- Don't Forget to Check Your Package Weight, Dimensions, and the Address Info.

Set up and print a page of the same label
- Go to Mailings > Labels.
- Select Options.
- Choose Printer type, Label products, and Product number.
- Select OK.
- Type an address or other information in the Delivery Address box.
- To change the formatting, select the text and then select Font to make changes.
