Having been lied to all his life, Loki sought to kill Asgard's greatest enemy, the Frost Giants — his actual people — to prove his competence to his adopted father, Odin. He was a misguided antagonist and a foil to Thor, yes. But to call Loki a "villain" would be too simple and frankly too uncharitable.
Odin adopted Loki because (1) he knew that the child, being of small stature, was unlikely to survive in Jotunheim, and (2) he hoped to use the child, being the son of the king of the Frost Giants, to foster a peace between Jotunheim and Asgard, something that Thor's incursion and Loki's later attack probably made
Thor is older than Loki. It is said in the first movie of Thor , that Loki was the second son of Odin and Thor first son. Loki was actually adopted. He was the son of the gaint monster farbauty and laufi .

' In one of the final scenes of the game, Kratos tells his son that his mother originally wanted to name him Loki, but Kratos pushed for the name Atreus to honor a Spartan warrior killed in battle. Moreover, Loki was discovered by Odin as a child, and some accounts say the God adopted Loki as one of his own.
After Valkyrie was left out of Avengers: Infinity War, she and Thor were reunited in Avengers: Endgame. There isn't a ton of screen time given to the pair, but they do share an important moment during the final few minutes of the film.
To summarise, Loki's love for Thor was always there. He just didn't realise it. Blinded by ambition, he lost sight of what was truly important, but in the end, in the very end, he realised what he valued more, and he chose to save it with his own life.
Loki is considered a trickster god, known for being neither fully good nor evil since his main aim was always to create chaos. Despite his father being a giant, he is still counted a member of the Aesir—a tribe of deities including Odin, Frigg, Tyr, and Thor.
A Jötunn-esque character, the Jotun of Grief, appears in the Persona video game series. Marvel Cinematic Universe uses the Jötunn "frost giants"—Thor's adopted brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) is actually a frost giant, in addition to being the Trickster God.
Thor is 30 years old in human terms. 1,070/5,000. Loki is 21.4 years old compared to a human.
Loki is not evil, nor is he good, he lived in Asgard even though he is from Jotunheim (the land of the giants). He loves to make trouble for anyone and everyone especially, for the Gods and Goddesses. The New York Times bestseller “Loki: Where Mischief Lies” has similar characteristics as the marvel series.
Part of Loki's magical skills include energy manipulation that allow him to levitate, and even to fly -- although he doesn't use this power very often. However, his flying abilities are never going to be Loki's main means of getting around, because as we're about to learn… he can also teleport.
Utgard-Loki is a master of the sorcery of the frost giants. His powers to create illusions are greater than those of other known frost giants. He can cause the weather of Jotunheim to grow even more frigid.
The issue also established Loki's greatest weakness: his propensity to overthink and doubt himself in the middle of a carefully laid-out plan. In this case, Loki's plan was to place Mjolnir, Thor's mystic hammer, into an opaque forcefield which would eventually force Thor to return to his weaker, mortal form.
Atreus notices he's referred to as Loki. Kratos explains that Loki was the name his wife and Atreus' mother Faye wanted, before eventually settling on Atreus — in honour of a fallen comrade of Kratos from his days as a Spartan soldier.
In true norse mythology Loki is the son of Laufey and Fárbauti , both of which are jötunn (loosly means giant). Laufey, or as Kratos calls her Fey, is still Loki's mom with Kratos as a substitute for Fárbauti. So in this story, Loki or Atreus does not know Odin. He knows who Odin is.
Adopted by OdinSmall and weak for a Frost Giant, Loki was abandoned by his father in a temple, being left to die. Adopting Loki and using sorcery to alter his appearance to make him appear to be an Asgardian, Odin raised Loki and his biological son, Thor, with his wife Frigga.
Loki was the god of the hearth fire, the spirit of life, and lightning.
